Two Things To Know Today:
- The company that wants to build a drug treatment center on Haverhill Street asked for and was granted a continuance and will not appear at the Zoning Board of Appeals meeting at 6:30 p.m. tonight. There are pending lawsuits in Massachusetts Land Court and Essex Superior Court involving Medico 140 LLC and the ZBA. Read previous coverage on the controversial project.
- The Andover High School Building Committee launched a survey Wednesday to collect resident feedback on the potential building project. The survey closes March 15.
- Andover received new COVID-19 test kits, which are available free for residents while supplies last. You can pick them up at Town Offices, the Robb Center or Memorial Hall Library (more info).
Sports
- The 8th seeded AHS boys' basketball team (13-7) hosts Springfield Central (25th seed, 12-8) at 6:30 tonight in the Division I state tournament.
Weather: Melt Away - For Now
Rain ends early this morning, but skies will remain cloudy. High of 45. Clear skies tonight with a low of 27. There could be a winter storm with 1-3 inches of snow beginning Friday night and continuing into Saturday.
